About this Host

John is the main host and selector of the music played on the Thursday Mod’s Show
An original Modernist of the 1960’s he really knows what he likes and the variety in the show’s music reflects that.

For six years John was a co host of a Northern Soul & Mod’s show on his local station in Lincolnshire, although he is from Rochdale originally.

Bob Hutchins started the station, with the sole purpose of providing a Station that promoted Soul Music based on, but not exclusively to the Northern Soul scene, that would not just play tunes from the top 500, but would have music from Soul’s earliest roots up to today
